Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about booking and staying at Noor Apartments in Granada's Albaicín

Where are Noor Apartments located in Granada?

All seven apartments are in the Albaicin, Granada's oldest and most atmospheric neighborhood. The Albaicin sits on a hillside facing the Alhambra and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with narrow cobblestone streets, whitewashed houses, and centuries of Moorish history.

How do I book a Noor apartment?

All of our apartments are listed on Airbnb. You can browse the full collection on our Apartments page and click through to the Airbnb listing for pricing, availability, and instant booking.

Can I drive to the apartments?

The Albaicin has very narrow, pedestrian-only streets, so cars cannot reach most of our apartments directly. We recommend parking at a nearby public garage (we'll send you the best options before arrival) and walking or taking a taxi for the last stretch. Once settled, everything in Granada is walkable.

What is the check-in and check-out process?

Check-in is self-service with a secure lockbox or smart lock — we send detailed instructions (including photos) before your arrival so you'll never feel lost. Check-out is equally simple: just leave the keys and go. Our host Diego is always available by message if you need anything.

Are the apartments suitable for families with children?

Yes! Several apartments — especially La Familia and El Gran Loft — are designed with families in mind, offering multiple bedrooms and spacious living areas. Let us know your group size and we'll recommend the best fit.

Is there Wi-Fi and air conditioning?

Every Noor apartment has high-speed Wi-Fi and heating. Most also have air conditioning or fans — check the individual apartment listing for specifics. Granada summers are warm, and our cave apartment La Cueva stays naturally cool year-round.

Who is Diego and what is Ask Diego?

Diego is your local host and the heart of Noor Apartments. Ask Diego is our AI-powered concierge that draws on Diego's years of local knowledge to answer questions about Granada — from restaurant recommendations to day-trip ideas — before, during, or after your stay.

What makes the Albaicin neighborhood special?

The Albaicin is the historic Moorish quarter of Granada, dating back over 1,000 years. It's home to the famous Mirador de San Nicolás viewpoint, traditional cármenes (walled gardens), flamenco tablaos in Sacromonte, and a vibrant mix of tea houses, tapas bars, and artisan shops — all within walking distance of our apartments.

How far are the apartments from the Alhambra?

Most of our apartments are a 10–20 minute walk from the Alhambra entrance. La Cueva, our cave apartment, sits just below the Alhambra walls. We recommend booking Alhambra tickets well in advance as they sell out quickly.

Do you offer long-term stays or discounts?

Yes, many of our apartments offer weekly and monthly discounts through Airbnb. If you're planning an extended stay, reach out through the listing and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary by apartment and are set through Airbnb. You can find the specific policy on each apartment's Airbnb listing page before you book.

Is Granada a good city for a vacation?

Absolutely. Granada is one of Spain's most beloved destinations — home to the Alhambra, free tapas culture, flamenco, the Sierra Nevada mountains, and a warm, walkable city center. Whether you're here for a weekend or a month, there's always more to discover. Our Granada Guide has dozens of articles to help you plan.
